    • What is digital consent?
      • Digital consent is when we sign up to a new account or website online, we are always presented with pages and pages of legal documents which we have to read through and accept.
    • Examples of digital consent
      • What information the company can have about you, and how long they can keep it from you
      • What they can do with the information, including who they can share it with or sell it to
      • What rights you have in relation to your data, including the right to be forgotten
    • How the European Union and GDPR have impacted on digital consent.
      • The General Data Protection Regulation is a guideline in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union and the European Economic Area.
      • The European Union and GDPR  means that now when you go onto a website you have to agree to the them  taking your information
    • Positives and negatives of sharing my data online
      • Negative
        • People may message  and harass you.
        • If people get card details they can hack your account.
      • Positive
        • Without sharing some data online you wouldn't be able to buy anything on line.
