            • 31st - norwich capture (2nd largest city)
              • 30 took a pardon marquis northamption defeated

                  • 23rd AUG earl of W arrives 12,000 men offers pardon
                    • 24th Aug ambushed by rebels some were captured
                      • 26th- supply line cut and rebels move to dussndale
                        • 27th defeated
                          • dec kett = hung drawn and quetered under or
    • Aftermath
      • retibution = immdeiate
        • 49 hung in norwich and 3000= rip
        • 3= hung drawn and quatered under the oak of refomation
        • however            -prevented grenrty from taking revenge            -kept pardon
      • Aug 29th - W held church service
    • WAS IT A THREAT
      • YES
        • timing - france and dofn in jail
        • 29 demands = rebellion not riot
        • captured 2nd largest
      • No?   - ketts mistakes , didnt want to destory heirachy +no gentry support
