- 0-6 mths
- is beginning to develop ideas, based on their senses e.g. will cry when they feel hungry. Understand the meaning of bye- bye, mama or dada. The baby will make babbling and repeat sounds.
- 7-9 mnths
- Listen and copy sounds, understand simple commands like ‘no’.
- 12 mnths
- - understands simple instruction followed by gestures, such as ‘come to mummy’ or wave bye-bye. Begins to speak 2 or more recognisable words, but they also other words.
- 18 mnths
- knows the names of body parts obeys simple instructions like shut the door. And can the recognise pictures.
- 2 yrs
- can name some colours & recognise letters.
- 3 yrs
- can count to 10, asks a lot of questions remember and repeat nursery rhymes
- 0-6 mths
