  • Immunity
    • Every cell has unique proteins on it's surface called antigens.
      • White blood cells make antibodies which joins up with antigens and destroys pathogens.
        • Your white blood cells 'remember' the pathogen for future.
    • Vaccination
      • Injects a dead or inactive dose of disease into your body.
        • Stimulates WBC's to make antibodies without you becoming ill so they remember if you come into contact with the real disease in futue.
