- Hydraulics
- Liquids are incompressible
- A force thats applied at one point will be transmitted in all directirons
- In liquids their pressure and volume stays the same
- When pressure is put on a liquid its transmitted in all directions
- Pressure = force / cross sectional area
- Pressure is measured in Pascals (Pa)
- Force is measured in Newtons (N)
- Hydraulic systems are used as force multipliers
- Small forces are used to produce a bigger force
- When the surface area increases and the pressure stays the same. the force thats exerted will be larger
- Hydraulics uses:
- Car braking systems
- Hydraulic car jacks
- Etc
- Liquids are incompressible
