- Result of the Treaty:
- Germany was made to sign Article 231, the War Guilt clause, meaning Germany had taken blame for the war.
- Limited to 100,00 men
- Conscription was banned

- Not allowed ant tanks, submarines or aircrafts.
- Had to pay £6.6 billion back in reparations so that other countries could repair themselves.

- Lack of finance
- They were missing financial support. America did not join because it was seen as them writing a blank cheque for the League.
- Although it was Woodrow Wilson's idea, America never joined the league.
