- He was a strong supporter of Richard III along with the Stafford brothers
- The Stafford brothers started to rebel alongside with Lovell
- They rebelled in the Midlands and North but was quickly shut down by Henry
- Henry was on Royal Progressing and this meant he gained more control in the north
- It had potential but did not turn out to be a serious threat
- Henry even gave Thomas Stafford a second chance
- He was a strong supporter of Richard III along with the Stafford brothers

- He had support from Margaret of Burgundy who gave him 2000 mercaneries
- He was crowned Edward VI in Dublin
- Failed to gain any English support but had 8000 supporters
- He forced Henry into a pitched battle at Stoke
- He had more supporters than Henry had in the Battle of Bosworth
- John de la Pole was killed by Henry
- It was a serious threat as Henry could have been killed

- In 1491 he failed to gain support in Ireland so went to France
- In 1492 France and England signed the Treaty of Etaples so he went to Burgundy
- In 1495 he landed in Deal but was easily repelled so went to Scotland
- In 1497 he was captured in Cornwall and executed in 1499
- He was a constant threat and stopped Henry's dynasty being created and had vast foreign support

- He was loyal to Henry till his father died
- In 1501 he fled the country and asserted his claim to the throne of England by Maximillian
- In 1506 Henry signed the Treaty of Windsor and Edmund was handed over to him and kept in the Tower of London
- Big threat as his dynasty was collapsing
