- The trinity is a way of describing the three ways of being God - God the Father, God the son & God the Holy Spirit
- Christians believe there is only one god
- Natural evil: suffering caused by events that have nothing to do with humans, and which are to do with the way the world is. Eg, floods.
- Moral (human) evil: Suffering caused by humans acting in a way that's considered morally wrong. Eg, murder.
- God has given people free will, ability to chose between right and wrong
- Good and evil: Story told of Adam and Eve. They chose to disobey God and ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil
- "God the Son", this refers to the Chrisitian belief that God chose to come to earth as a human being.
