- Giving medicine
- Check with the pharamist to make sure the medicine is suitable for the age of the child
- Check lables - espcially if the child has an allergy
- Use the spoon provided with the medicine and measure accurately
- Never give more then the required dose
- Follow manufacturer's doctors instructions
- Check the use by dates of all medicines
- Make sure the spoon is cleanes (steriliesed?)
- Complete the course
- Use a small syringe for babies
