  • Genetic Variation
    • Alleles - different forms of the same gene
      • Homozygous - Only one type of allele present e.g. BB, bb
      • Dominant (B) - an allelle of a gene which always determines the phenotype - even if a different allele is present
    • Test Cross - used to determine the phenotype of an unknown creature e.g. determine if a creature has a genotype of BB or Bb
