      • Huntington Disease
        • Huntington disease is a progressive brain disorder that causes uncontrolled movements, emotional problems, and loss of thinking ability (cognition). Adult-onsetHuntington disease, the most common form of this disorder, usually appears in a person's thirties or forties.
      • Sickle Cell Anemia
        • Sickle cell disease is a group of disorders that affects haemoglobin, the molecule in red blood cells  that delivers oxygen to cells throughout the body. People with this disorder have atypical haemoglobin molecules called haemoglobin S, which can distort red blood cells  into a sickle, or crescent, shape.
      • Cystic Fibrosis
        • Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs, but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine. Long-term issues include difficulty breathing and coughing up mucus as a result of frequent lung infections.
      • Downs Syndrome
        • a congenital disorder arising from a chromosome defect, causing intellectual impairment and physical abnormalities including short stature and a broad facial profile. It arises from a defect involving chromosome 21, usually an extra copy (trisomy-21)
      • Hemophilia
        • a medical condition in which the ability of the blood to clot is severely reduced, causing the sufferer to bleed severely from even a slight injury. The condition is typically caused by a hereditary lack of a coagulation factor, most often factor VIII.
      • All will effect the way in which they will physically develop as well as socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
