  • Balanced and Unbalanced
    • If the arrows on a force diagram are equal, the force is balanced.
      • If the forces are balanced, the object is either stationary or continuing to move at a steady speed.

    • If the arrows on a force diagram are different sizes/lengths, the force is unbalanced.
      • If forces are unbalanced, the object is either, stationary and starting to move or changing speed.
