- HOUSEHOLD- One person who lives alone or a group of people who live together.
- NUCLEAR FAMILIES - Father and mother who live together with their child/children.
- GAY AND LESBIAN FAMILIES -Same sex couples living together.
- EXTENED FAMILIES -This is when relatives beyond the nuclear family live with them. (grandparents, uncles, aunties..)
- STEP FAMILIES - "Reconstituted families" Both the partners or one partner already have a child or children from a previous relationship.
