- Factors that influence a business location
- 1) Location of raw materials. E.G Weetabix near a Wheat farm
- 2)Labour Supply. If it locates in high unemployment areas wages will be lower.
- 3) Transport. Is it easily accessible?
- 4) Economies of concentration. Away from or close to competitors?
- 5)Communication Links. Good telephone ,internet and postal services.
- 6) The local people. E.G Expensive on Saville Row
- 7)Government policy. E.g how much tax?
