Factors that affect the difference in education success for ethinicity
- Material deprivation- Some families can't afford provisions because of low income.
- Teacher stereotyping- Some teachers believe that specific ethnic groups are intelligent (Indians, Chinese, etc.) which is good but also can prove to be to high of expectations.
  - Family Life – some parents of ethnic minority, such as Chinese and Indian, take more interest in their child’s education,
- Language- For some children English is not their main language which could cause them to struggle in reading exam questions as they won't understand.
