  • Factors that indicate improvement after a training program
    • Resting pulse rate - number of times your heart beats per minute. if RPR is less than beginning then there has been improvement
    • Recovery rate - this is how quickly your heart rate returns to your RPR. As you become fitter you will return quicker
    • Distance & Time - you can complete a certain distance in a quicker time or a further distance in a set time
    • Reps completed - measure the number of reps completed in a fixed time. the more reps the better the improvement
    • Weight lifted - measure the maximum weight that can be lifted or pressed for a number of reps
    • Range of movement - if range of movement is greater there Is improvement
