      • Humour - death and religion is joked about in the UK but offensive in other cultures
      • Gender Roles - men and women communicate differently

          • Speeds up communication when needed

    • Stereotyping - negative stereotyping can lead to prejudice and discrimination
      • Labelling - behaviour
        • self fulfilling prophecy
      • A stereotype is fixed, generalised belief about a group of people suggesting they all have the same characteristic.
    • Lack of Resources
      • technology - computers
      • Recording material - paper, pens
      • Equipment- broken, no internet
        • Time- staff training
