    • Cue-Dependant forgetting is thought to be the best explanation in LTM, as it has the strongest evidence to support the concept, this is a strength because it increases the validity of the explanation
    • Artificial as recalling words like in Tulvings study lacks meaning in the real world
    • Baddeley argues that context effects are not very strong, its hard to find an environment as different from land and learning something in one room and recalling in another is unlikely to result in forgetting as environments aren't very different
    • Theory might not relate to all memory types, for examples cues might not be relevant to procedural memory (playing an instrument)
