    • Heat  energy is transferred when there is a temperature differences.
    • The hotter something is the more heat energy it has.
    • When water  vapour hit a cold surface it condenses into a liquid because the heat from the water vapour is transferred to the cold surface.
      • This makes the particles in the water vapor slow and cool down
    • Faster moving particles have enough energy to escape.
    • Sweating cools you down because the faster moving particles leave your body.
    • When a metal bar s heated at one end, the free electrons at the end move faster. They diffuse and collide with other free electrons
      • As a result, they transfer energy from the hot end of the metal. The free electron collide with the atoms and make them vibrate more.
    • Copper is the best conductor.
  • The hotter something is the more heat energy it has.
