- Problems caused by a poor diet
- Absence of vitamin D leads to soft bones. This is called Rickets.
- Too much food, particular fat, results in obesity and heart disease
- Not enough iron causes Anaemia which makes you feel weary
- Lack of vitamin C leads to bleeding gums and joints. This is called scurvy.
- Not enough vitamin A, leads to poor night vision
- Too little protein can cause wasting of body tissues.
- Lack of calcium causes weak bones and teeth.
