Physics 2 Distance Time Graphs

?
View mindmap
  • Distance Time graphs
    • Time in Seconds goes along the bottom of the graph.
    • Distance in Meters along the side of the graph
    • Gradient = Speed - Distance/ Time
      • M/S
    • Flat Sections = its stopped
    • Straight uphill or down hill sections = steady speed
      • Downhill = going back towards it starting point
    • Steeper Graph = Faster it's going
    • Curves represents acceleration or deceleration
    • A steepening curve = speeding up (increasing gradient)
    • A levelling off curve = slowing down (decreasing gradient)
