    • Speed = measure of how far something travels in known time
    • V = d/t
      • V = speed (m/s)
      • d = distance (m)
      • t = time (s)

      • gradient - shows the way one variable is changing in relation to the other
        • steeper the gradient = higher the speed
    • Velocity time graph
      • Velocity = measure of an objects speed in a given direction

      • Area under line on velocity time graph = V x t or distance
