  • Types of attachment
    • Secure attachment (type B)
      • Use mother as a safe base, happy to explore, showed distress when mother left(cried), joy of reunion, wary of strangers.
    • Insecure- avoidant attachment (type A)
      • Showed some distress on departure, did'nt seek comfort when she returned, rejected strangers comfort, avoid closeness.
    • Insecure- ambivalent
      • Upset on separation, not easily comforted, angry, alternated from closeness and distance.
