      • growing awareness of nutrition & its importance to health
      • improved educational standards
      • much better informed public
      • websites which provide guidance on the prevention &  treatment of health & promote good health
    • IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS
      • factory conditions improved
      • technology taken over some of the tasks so less danger in workplace
      • more health & safety regulations
