      • love morale -  cold winter, lack of fighting and drunkeness

      • diversion attack in North and then major attack in Ardennes forest

      • britain could repair planes quickly due to established maintenance structure
      • British hurricanesw and spitfires were just as good as german bf-109
      • half of german planes were vulnerable bombers
      • british had fewer pilots
      • 50 radar stations
      • 50 RDF stations
      • 3 stages. 1: 10 July - The Channel Battle 2: August - Operation Eagle (attack on airfields) 3: September - London Bomber
      • tactical error to bomb london, gave time to RAF for repairs
      • German planes could only spend 30 minutes over England
      • RAF lost - under 800 planes Luftwaffe lost - 1300 +
