- Dangers of a Volcano
- Pyroclastic flow - hot clouds of gas, steam and ash up to 400 degrees
- Lava flows - destroys buildings and farmlands but not dangerous to humans
- Dust - released into atmosphere and causes problems for planes, cars and breathing
- Gases - e.g. sulfur dioxide which can cause acid rain
- Earthquakes - can occur during eruptions and may cause landslides
- Ash - settles on roads and buildings causing them to collapse or become unusable
