- Crime
- Actions deemed to be punishable by the majority and/or those in power. The act or omission prohibited and punished by law.
- Recidivism
- Repeat offending and the tendency to relapse nto crime after they have experienced negative consequences of that behaviour.
- Token economy
- Operant conditioning procedure in which people earn a token (secondary reinforcer) of some sort for exhibiting a desired behaviour and can later exchange the tokens for treats (primary reinforcers)
- Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- Acting in a manner that causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress including agressive, intimidating and destructive behaviour.
- Stereotyping
- The tendency to apply commonly oversimplyfied view, e.g. media to all members of a group. May or may not reflect reality.
- Modelling
- The process of observing and imitating a specific behaviour.
- EWT
- The act of reporting from memory about elements of an event previously observed. Recalling; setting, people, places and objects.
