    • Crime = Any act that breaks the laws of society.
    • Social control = agencies put in place to try and reduce deviance and crime.
    • Deviance = Behaviour that works away from the norms and values of society e.g spitting
    • The perfect amount of crime will keep society healthy and avoid anomie.
