- it is the ability to use two or more different parts of the body together, smoothly and effciently

- strength is the ability to overcome resistance

- maximal strength - greatest force possible in a single muscle contraction
- static strength - amount of force exerted on a force you cant move
- explosive strength - is the amount of force used in one quick muscle contraction
- dynamic strength - the amount of force that can be exerted repeatedly

- CVE is also often referred to as aerobic power. it is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles
- balance
- balance is the ability to keep the body stable by maintaining the centre of the mass over the base of support
- static balance - performed with little or no movement
- dynamic balance - balance performed when movement takes place

- speed
- speed is the maximum rate at which an individual is able to perform a movement or cover distance over a period of time
- reaction time
- reaction time is the time taken to start responding to a stimulus;
- flexibility
- flexibility refers to the range of movement possible at a joint

- power is the product of strength x speed
- muscular endurance
- it is the ability of a muscle of group of muscles to undergo repeated contractions, avoiding fatigue
- agility
- agility is the ability to move and change direction quickly, at speed, maintaining control
