- Long shore drift is the direction the sea is travelling.
- Erosion from the sea eats away at the rocks to create ridges.
- The ocean takes pieces of rocks of cliffs and rounds them down.
- There are two types of waves. Destructive and Constructive.
- Shingle is taken from the beach and deposited somewhere else by the sea.
- The counsiles are building walls to help protect houses and sea side resorts that people go to.
- Destructive waves erode the land.
- Constructive waves add shingle.
- Headlands help protect the surrounding towns.
- Natural features occur such as Caves, Arches
- Towns have made different ways of protecting themselves such as wooden walls which are cheap.
