  • Co-ordinate Geometry Equations
    • The distance between two points
      • Square root(x2 - x1) + (y2 - y1)
    • The midpoint
      • (x1 + x2/2),(y1+y2/2)
    • The gradient of a line
      • y2 - y1/x2 - x1
    • The equation of a line
      • y = mx + c
      • With gradient: y - y1 = m(x - x1)
      • To get integers as the constant: ax + by + c = 0
        • With gradient: y - y1 = m(x - x1)
        • Rearrange either way
          • y = mx + c
    • The gradient of a perpendicular line
      • When a line has gradient m: -(1/m)
      • Two lines with gradients m1 and m2 are perpendicular if: m1m2 = -1
