  • Astronomical Forcing
    • Change in the amount of energy distributed by the Sun.
    • Change in the distribution of energy from the sun.
    • Changes over 100,000 years.
    • Stage One - Stretch
      • 96,000 years
      • Orbit changes from perfect  to elipse and back to perfect again.
        • This changes distance from the Sun to the Earth.
          • Alters the amount of energy the earth receives.
            • When perfect there is equal distribution. When there is elipse some areas of the globe receive more energy than others.
    • Stage Two -Tilt
      • 41,000 years
      • Earth alter tilt from 21.8 to 24.4 degrees
        • Alters the amount of energy the earth receives. In some areas
          • Tropics become larger.
          • Area beyond tropics become smaller.
    • Stage Three - Wobble
      • Earth Wobbles
        • Seasons will swap over.
          • Sun is closest to Earth in January. Summer in Northern Hemisphere
          • Sun is furthest away from Earth in June. Winter in the Northern Hemisphere.
            • During Wobble the summer and winter will become mild and then eventually swap over. Sun will still be closest in January and furthest in July.
              • Sun is closest to Earth in January. Summer in Northern Hemisphere
      • 22,000 years
