          • This makes it stand out and makes it seem powerful. It is written in green to grab the attention of the reader to also  able you to click on each word for a definition

        • "But catastrophic climate change isn't inevitable"
          • Catastrophic climate sticks in the mind of the reader. It is thought provoking and the word but acts as the switch and is the biggest emotive word.  This whole sentence is slogan like

    • What we can do to help
      • This section in the webpage is used to persuaded people to help reduce the climate change by telling then what they can do
    • Questions
      • When the questions are answer she uses metaphors and emotive language which make it stand out more eg-"tipping points"
      • Personification -" runaway greenhouse effect" this is also colloquial
      • "It only hangs around the atmosphere"the word 'hangs' is an example of colloquial language this means she is trying to make it appeal to younger people maybe teens this could be because at the stage in life you still have your full life ahead so if you chose to help you could carry it on for the rest of your life(prime age)
