- Circulatory system (the heart)
- The heart
- A pumping organ that keeps bllod flowing around the body
- The heart walls are made of muscle tissue
- Valves to make sure bllood flows in the right direction
- keeps blood from flowing backwards
- The heart has four chambers
- Ventricles
- The atria contract pushing blood in to the ventricles
- The ventricles contract forcing blood into the pulmornary artery
- Blood is also forced in to the aorta
- Blood flow

- A pumping organ that keeps bllod flowing around the body
- The heart
- the first one pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs and then returns the the heart
- The second pumps oxygenated blood around the organs of the body the blood gives up its oxygen at the body cells and becomes deoxygenated blood returns to the heart to be pumped out to the lungs again
- Circulatory system (the heart)
- Atria
- Blood flows to the atria from the vena cava
- Blood also flows to the atria from the pulmonary vein
- And out of the heart
- Blood flows tothe organs through the arteries
- And returns to the heart through the Veins
