- Focus on those who need the most help from the community health service
- It helps with independence, rehabilitation and recovery, as well as it helps to avoid homelessness and finally re - hospitalisation.
- The treatment can take place in the patient's real life setting.
- Visiting them and helping instead of offering them therapies which means that there will be enough staff to support them and offer them the relevant treatment
- Working with other professionals has worked so that whole teams of people can focus on the individual in question
- E.g. psychiatrists, nurses, Social worker.
- ACT commits to spending as much time with a person who has schizophrenia as possible
- This includes rehabilitation and support
- They can also be offered holistic treatment which has looked at the needs
