        • 80 buses were destroyed

        • Rivers were polluted with rubbish and sewage
        • Increased river bank erosion
      • Social
        • 3 people died
        • over 3000 people were made homeless for up to a year
        • 4 schools were flooded
          • children lost out on education
        • increase in stress related ilnesses following the floods
