      • Gastro-intestinal tract of animals. Grows best at body temp of birds
      • Water contaminated with infected faeces
      • Cross-contamination from shopping carts
    • Prevention
      • Wash and dry hands before preparing food
      • People with vomiting or diarrhoea shouldn't prepare food for others
      • Cover cuts and sores
      • Change dishcloths and tea towels regularly
      • Cook food thoroughly. Only reheat once
      • Leftovers should be cooled quickly and refrigerated between 0-5C
      • Avoid cross contamination
