- strengths- quick and cheap to administrate. can gather large amount of data.
- weaknesses- social desirability can affect response, misunderstanding of questions.
- validity
- validity was ensured as questions were in native language to make sure the ppts would understand.
- Reliability
- All samples agreed so reliability was ensured, test re test can be done to further improve reliability.
- Same questionnaire was used in all countries to enable consistency.
- sampling evaluation
- variation of different sampling methods used .- because it removed bias in terms of age, gender. but - time consuming.
- sample was large and quite representative but if generalized to the world sample is small
