- 1st noble Truth------- The illness is the suffering and unhappiness that everyone feels at some time in their lives.
- 2nd noble Truth------- The cause of unhappiness is craving. We want more and more of everything.
- 3rd Noble Truth------ It is always possible to be happy and free from craving, this state is the same as enlightenment.
- 4th Noble Truth------ The way to overcome craving is by following the eightfold path, also known as the middle way.
