- Muscular tube which moves indigestive food to the stomach.

- Where digested food is absorbed into the blood stream & lymph.
- 10. Large intestine- Colon
- Where water is re-absorbed.
- 11. Large intestine- Rectum
- Where faeces are stored.
- 12. Large intestine- Anus
- Where faeces leave the alimentary canal.
