      • Stores bile before realising it into the duodenum.
    • 8. Small intestine- duodenum
      • Where food is mixed with digestive enzymes & lymph.
    • 9. Small intestine- ileum
      • Where digested food is absorbed into the blood stream & lymph.
    • 10. Large intestine- Colon
      • Where water is re-absorbed.
    • 11. Large intestine- Rectum
      • Where faeces are stored.
    • 12. Large intestine- Anus
      • Where faeces leave the alimentary canal.
