    • Used in: detergents, explosives, pharmaceuticals  and dyestuffs.
    • It's a carcinogen, continued exposure to benzene vapour can lead to anaemia or lukaemia
    • A colourless, sweet smelling liquid that is highly flammable
    • Natural sources of benzene include volcanoes and forest fires
