    • Blood Pressure: is measured in millimetres of mercury.
    • Diastolic blood pressure is blood pressure between heart beats
    • Systolic blood pressure is the maximum pressure the heart produces
    • Blood pressure can be increased by stress,high alcohol intake,smoking and being over weight
    • Blood pressure can be decreased by regular exercise and eating a healthy balanced diet
    • High blood pressure can cause blood vessels to burst and can cause a stroke or kidney damage
    • Low blood pressure can lead to dizziness and fainting
    • Fitness is the ability to do physical activity
    • Health is being free from disease
    • General fitness is measured by cardiovascular efficency
    • Fitness can be measured by Strength,Flexibility,Stamina,Agility,Speed
    • Smoking can increase blood pressure as carbon monoxide decreases the oxygen carrying capacity of blood, it combines with haemoglobin preventing it from combing with oxygen
    • Heart disease is caused by restricted blood flow to the heart muscle
    • A high level of sautrated fat in the diet causes a build up of cholesterol in arteries
    • Narrowing of the arteries caused by plaques in coronary arteries can reduce blood flow to heart muscle, the plaques can cause blood clots and thrombosis is more likely to happpen.
