  • ATOMS, COMPOUNDS AND ISOTOPES
    • Atomic Number and Mass Number
      • Mass Number - ( bigger number) - Total number of protons and neutrons
      • Atomic Number - Little Number - Number f protons
      • To get the number of neutrons, subtract the atomic number from the mass number
    • Compounds
      • Compounds are formed when atoms of two or more elements are chemically combines together
        • E.g Carbon Dioxide is a compound formed from a chemical reaction between carbon and oxygen
    • Isotopes
      • Different atomic forms of the same element, which have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons
        • Same atomic mass but different mass numbers
        • E.g Carbon-12 and Carbon -14
