    • MODE OF TRANSPORT
      • Transmission occurs when eggs are swallowed from soil contaminated with human faeces or consumed with produce contaminated with soil containing infective eggs.
    • SYMPTOMS (generally asymptomatic)
      • Impaired growth
      • Blockage of intestinal passage
      • Cough
      • Abdominal discomfort
      • Anemia
      • Internal bleeding
    • DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
      • Secondary Diagnosis: Concentration Procedure
      • Primary Diagnosis:  Sample stool test
    • TREATMENT
      • Antihelminthic medicines
      • Albendazole and mebendazaole
