- TNCs account for around 50% of world manufacturing production
- 51 of the world's largest economies are CORPORATIONS
- E.g. WALMART is the SAME SIZE as POLAND

- Globalisation has led TNCs drawing to states, who offer low taxation, regulation & a stable political environment
- They also draw to states with cheap labour, weak trade unions and limited protection for labour rights
- E.g. APPLE & IRELAND
- This is a negative of globalisation because it REDUCES STATE SOVEREIGNTY
