- Washing hair, teeth and skin while being cured for diseases and everyday was important for Greeks
- 'A Regiment of Health' outlined the diet that Greeks should have
- Disease and Infection
- Believed that Asclepius could cure if you stayed in his temple over night and followed all the ceremonial processes (washing, exercises, and resting)
- Hippocrates came up with the theory of Four Humours. If unbalanced, disease would happen. Treatments - rest, exercise, balanced diet and good hygiene. Also still used purging and bleeding
