      • Use you mirrors to check how your actions will affect oncoming traffic
      • Check for a final time, including blind spots

    • What should I do to get a clear view?
      • If parked cars block my view, I should move slowly and carefully until I have a clear view
    • What should I look out for when overtaking?
      • Vehicles coming towards me
      • Bend or dips in the road, which would make it difficult
      • If there is a junction, cars could come out and prevent this
      • Road signs that prevent overtaking
      • If the road gets narrower, there may not be enough room
      • If it is safe, legal and necessary
      • If I have enough time  to complete the overtake
    • What should I do to make sure I'm seen by others?
      • Turn my lights on when it is dark
      • Use the horn when I cannot be seen by others
