- What is an agent?
- Anything that perceives it's environment through sensors and can act on it's environment through actuators.

- Takes data through its sensors. Based on what it can sense, takes action.
- Doesn't take time planning or thinking about the consequences of their actions

- Uses percept sequence to look into past and then use that and present findings to make a decision

- Goal-Based/ Utility-Based Agents
- Can look into the future, create a model of what the domain looks like if they do one thing, or another thing. This can then be used to pick an action they think will lead to the best consequences.
