  • Advantages of fish farming
    • The fish cannot escape
    • Indoor farmed fish are protected from all weather changes
    • Can be produced in. large quantities
    • Fish are protected from predators e.g. sharks, dolphins and other fish
    • When fish are reared indoors  the water quality and temperature is controlled so higher quantities are produced
    • Wild fish socks are not reduced
    • Other competing species cannot enter the fish farm
