- acceleration is how quickly the velocity is changing
- the unit for acceleration is m/s squared .
- acceleration= change in velocity divided by time taken
- v squared= u squared+2as
- the formulas on this page only work when the acceleration is constant
- v is the final velocity

- a negative value for acceleration means something is slowing down
